Abstract

In this study, the perceptions of the vocational high school students about the democratic attitudes and behaviours of were compared according to gender, class, program and type of education. The purpose of the research is to determine the opinions of the students of the Vocational School on the democratic attitudes and behaviors of the instructors. Screening model was used in the research. The sample of the research consists of 617 students who are studying at the Vocational School of Social Sciences of Ordu University. In order to obtain the data of the study was used a Likert-type scale developed by Duman and Koç (2004). Analyzes were made according to the characteristics of the variables by inputting data in the statistical analysis program of the data obtained from the measurement. At the end of the analysis, it was seen that the level of perception of the students' democratic attitudes and behaviors was medium. A significant difference was determined according to type of education and program variable.
