Abstract

One of the most recent issues in paleoanthropological research is the identification of the Homo genus who first appeared in Africa, the routes they crosses, the processes of dispersals and the settlement locations. For this purpose, researches are being carried out in many parts of the world and new finds are being taken every day to contribute to solving this phenomena. Turkey, geographically, takes a position like a bridge between the African, European and Asian continents and has been on the migration routes throughout the human history. In this study, findings from the new discoveries are discussed from Şerefköy, Kemikalan, Gülpınar, Etili, Bahadırlı and Karlı localities on the basis of Mugla and Çanakkale, West Anatolia surveys conducted between 2012-2016 years, and paleoanthropological results are evaluated in terms of human migration route.
