Abstract

As the studying of the human skeletal remains provide very important information about the ancient people. By studying the human remains, it is mostly possible to gain significant information about the age, sex, height (length) and health status of the ancient populations. While the materials which were gotten from the excavations have been important for the illumination of past for the archeologists in those searches, the scientific studies which were done on the skeletons' samples which were gotten from the excavations have answered many questions. However, the molecular analyses which have been done on the samples from the excavations have gained a great importance for the social sciences in recent years, with the occurrence of the molecular anthropology and the development in the genetic science. The sex determination with the molecular analyses has got an importance in the field of anthropology especially on the cases that the skeletons are complex, deficient and about whether the gender determinants couldn't be observed.
