Whereas the city which is centrally located as geographical at the Cappadocia region and is a center of the region in administratively, is a colorful and rich settlement in terms of historical, cultural and geographical aspects. Underground city, Nevşehir Castle, Damat İbrahim Pasha Complex, mosques, fountains, church and bell tower are the most important historical tourism places. Kahveci Dağı Hill, Karaağaç Valley, artificial Terraces constitute the geographical tourism areas of the city. It is thought that the biggest underground city in the world, which was emerged within the context of urban transformation in 2014, will make Nevşehir be the most important tourism center in the future. Nevşehir has not tourism entity only limited with underground city. The other places which has tourism potentials in the city should be evaluated for tourism in the same way.
