Abstract

Discrete event simulation is used frequently nowadays. In what-if analysis, especially analyzing different policies outcome in stochastic system, using of discrete event simulation is progressively increasing. In order to increase effectiveness of robot lines that is used in manufacturing sector simulation model is developed. Applying discrete event simulation in effectiveness increasing studies provides to avoid making mistake. At the same time it dams up occurring situation that is difficult to realize and returning is risky. The aim of this study is to analyze utilization rate of robot facilities with developed simulation model. Existent system is analyzed and then modeled in Arena 14.0 package program. Changes of capacity utilization rates are analyzed considering developed alternative suggestions. Providing Target production rate and considering utilization rates adequate policy is determined.
