Abstract

Behaviours of public and private corporations and differences between them are defined in this paper. The concept is evaluated in terms of brand reputation and volunteering, which is handled for different purposes under the structure of corporate philanthropy concept. Firstly, mentioned that private corporations takes this concept to increase their brand management and economic performance, while public services are taking it with an understanding of pure philanthropy, which is volunteering based approach. Accordingly, the debates over philanthropy behaviors of the corporations tried to be examined over the three different Turkish corporations named: Koç, Kızılay and İKSV.
