Abstract

Societies are in a transformation period called “digimodernism”. In this digital modern era, communication technologies penetrate every part of daily life and also, more and more people connect to global communication networks (internet, cellphones, computer games, blogs etc.) in digital sociabilities. Hybrid culture and its hyper-texts, which consist of digital technologies, and the interaction of global, national and local cultures, are shared among people in digital daily life activities. “Digitalized people”, which are the prominent human models of this new culture and new era, have a lot of pathological behaviors more than those of modern era. They sometimes behave in a narcissistic and hedonistic way in unlimited time and space due to technological possibilities and also, have hyperbolic and contradictory tendencies in their daily choices. For this reason, people, who are alienated to themselves and their societies, consume for social sense of belonging and try to get rid of their cognitive contradictions. In this study; sociabilities of digitalized people in their daily life, their adaptation levels to the societies, and their integration processes are argued via fashion blog studies.
