Increasing of the problem, poverty has been become the whole worlds problem. 70 percent of 1.5 million people living under poverty border is women. This percentage makes women poverty become like global problem. The conditions of women are one of the main tools transfering poverty from generation to generation. The risk to meet poverty is higher on women than men. Some reasons make poverty increase are the low percentage of women’s work power, the widow’s inevitable burdenboth to work and bring up the children in the same time. This situation makes women’s poverty is the number one problem to struggle. Many different solutions in strugglin with women’s poverty are carried on. One of these solutions is the Help Program of women whose spouse’s death. This program has been carring on by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation since 2012. This aim of this study is to reasearch the affect of this program on the women’s poverty in Sivas. For this purpose, a public survey were taken a poll among 350 women in this city. The study brings up that this program is insufficiant to struggle with the women’s poverty and to find a lasting solution. On the other hand, the study shows that EVEK help program provides temporary solution for women and puts women at ease temporary.},author={Yılmaz DAŞLI},year={2016},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
