Abstract

In this study, It was aimed to analyze (the) İzzeddin Şir(Yezdanişir) Rebellion occured during the War of Crimea and the interference to it from other countries .While the War of Crimea was continueing, Russia aimed to be successful in the Eastern fronts by causing rebellions in the eastern regions of the Ottoman Empire, using Iran too. As a result of long efforts of Russian and Iranian officers , İzzeddin Şir(Yezdanşir) Rebellion started in the eastern regions of the Ottoman Empire during the most critical phase of the war . This rebellion both led the Ottoman Empire to be unsuccessful in the eastern front and strengthened the position of Russia in Paris Pact.
