Abstract

Blended learning is one of the approaches that be utilized to help students for meaningful learning via information and communication technologies in educational settings. In this study, face-to-face learning and online learning environments were blended in order to investigate students’ achievements and perceptions on usefulness of the blended learning for Computer-I course “Microsoft Word” unit. Case study method was used in this research. Research continued for 6 weeks with 10 undergraduate students. The students encountered with blended learning approach for the first time. The data were collected via a semi-structured survey which included open and closed-ended questions. Collected data were analyzed with descriptive data analysis technique. The results of the study showed that students’ achievements were high in blended learning environment.
