Abstract

Leadership and organizational commitment are very important concepts in homeland security services in perspective of structure of given services. In order to use these concepts as effectively managerial devices, firstly leadership perceiving and organizational commitment levels must be known. For this reason, relationship between organizational commitment and leadership perceiving is examined. In the research, (n=396) law enforcement agency personnel working at Police departments in Bitlis Provience in 2015 year were subjected to survey including leadership and organizational commitment scales. According to results of the study, both leadership perceiving and organizational commitment levels of security personnel are at high level. Identification factor of organizational commitment was found to be statistically different based on job experience levels (p<0,05).
