Abstract

Wasting, surrounds all around of our life, stands up as a social illness which is difficult to threat. Somehow, when the word ‘wasting’ is said, the first thing remembered is haphazard spending. Whereas when the word ‘wasting’ is discussed in a wide perspective, it is seen that, it is not only limited with haphazard spending and it covers of all behaviours. Wasting, has the meanings of exceeding stint, mistake, ignorance, unawareness in the dictionary, as a scientific term, has the meanings of belief, exceeding stint in speeches and behaviours, spending more than the need in alimony or consuming the wealth not for God sake (Allah’s willing). Most of scholars have described the wasting as to exceed sinning against Allah (c.c) and go out from permissible area (halal circle). Allah (c.c) wants all servants to be mild in their all activities. In Quran, people leaving from the straightway, going too far in their acts, being wildness, have been described extravagant.
