Abstract

This article’s purpose is to reveal to school principles’ views in related to approach of school that learns. Phenomenological design which is a qualitative research design was used in this study. The study group consists of 10 school principals working in public and private schools in İstanbul in 2014-2015 years. The data was collected through semi-structured interview form with open-ended questions developed by researchers. Data collected by face-to-face interview was analysed through content analysis tecnique of qualitative research method. In result of the study, according to school principles’ views two basic themes were figured out which were named “learning school- exceptations” and “learning school- obstacles”, also sub-themes in relation to them were revealed. Also the school principals explained that multiple interaction was necessary for schools to transform to school that learning.
