Abstract

The main objective of the study is to determine job involvement of white and blue collar employees working in advertising sector in the context of lead manager characteristics in change processes in workplace. The questionnaire prepared for the study was applied to 179 employees (96 white collar and 83 blue collar) working in businesses that operate in advertising sector in Izmir between May 2014 and August 2014. In general, it was determined that “effective and developer lead manager characteristics” are more regarded by white collar employees in change processes in the workplace in terms of their job involvement. On the other hand, it was stated that “motivator lead manager characteristics” are perceived similarly by white collar and blue collar employees in change processes in the workplace in the context of their job involvement.
