Abstract

This study aims to analyse the perception on the irrational behaviours such as Nepotism”, “Favouritism” and “Cronyism” at work places. Although there are various forms of favouritism we have analysed the three forms of it which is considered to be known the most in this article. Some of the points that made this study different than other studies are the fact that we have conducted surveys with various people without considering if they are from the family company or public sector in Ankara; and also the fact that this study was carried out along with the different groups such as employee, human resources and employer who has different job description. Additionally, the effects of the perception of favouritism that is being viewed by the groups that work differently was also analysed in terms of organizational loyalty, work satisfaction and work stress.
