Abstract

Changing living conditions show the effects in many areas of life. Requirements of nutrition, harboring, and clothing which are the most basic steps of the hierarchy of needs are the continuous needs. It is believed in that there is a traditional and historical role of District Bazaars to satisfy the needs and requirements. Buyers and sellers in traditional District Bazaars in Adiyaman were examined in this study. The reasons of choosing these shopping areas, the levels of satisfaction, problems and expectations of buyers were clearly determined in this research. After that, the reasons of choosing this profession, working hours, problems, and expectations of sellers in the same bazaars were also examined. Two different district bazaar samples (buyer-seller) were established for collecting data.
