Abstract

This study has been conducted for the purpose of determining the self-efficacy perceptions of music teaching students in the field of piano accompaniment. In addition, the determination as to whether the self-efficacy perceptions of the students in piano accompaniment and its sub-dimensions make any difference in terms of variables like gender, class and the graduation school forms the other aim of the study. The Scale of Sufficiency Perception in the Field of Accompaniment with Piano which is used for the purpose of determining the self-efficacy perceptions of music teaching students in the field of piano accompaniment has been applied to a total of 171 students who have been studying in Marmara, Yüzüncü Yıl and Karadeniz Technical Universities Education Faculties FAED Music Teaching Departments.
