A FORMATIVE FEEDBACK MODEL TO DEVELOP TEACHER LEARNING IN THE SUPERVISORY PROCESS DENETİM SÜRECİNDE ÖĞRETMEN ÖĞRENMESİ İÇİN GELİŞTİRİCİ BİR GERİBİLDİRİM MODELİ
The feedvack process is essential and closely relatid with increassing the quality of learning and teaching. Teachers must be given regular feedback to improve teacher professional skills. Supervisors in the current Turkish educational system fail to give proper feedback due to many constrains like lack of time, planning problems, etc., although the importance of giving feedback is streessed in al supervisory processes. This study is conducted through literature review and mainly focuses on proposing a formative feedback model to be used by the supervisors based on the quality of learning outputs. It also discusses the main problems during feedback sessions, conflicting demands, benefits of giving feedback for both teachers and supervisors. Teachers are expected to increase their self-confidence, communication skills and motivation through using this feedback model.
