Generally, in literature history and research books, there is a consensus that Tevfik Fikret has thought poems as music and assessed aruz prosody in terms of its musical values. The most important factor that creates this consensus is the meaning and sound integrity which we see in his poems. Fikret’s poem ‘Yağmur’ is an important work which appeals to both ear and emotions in which this integrity is completely felt. In this study, music that is felt in ‘Yağmur’ poem will be tried to analyzed with reference to musical facts.
