The population of the study consists of articles that do semiotic analysis of written texts. 74 articles published between 2000-2014 and found in Arastirmax, ASOS İndex, ÇÜTAM, EBSCO, Google Scholar, Dergipark Akademi, Türk Eğitim İndeksi, ULAKBİM constitute the sample. The data was collected with document analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis was employed. Doing researches that study written text with semiotic analysis method means to understand the construction process of the inspected text, explain the text objectively and notice the deeper meaning of the text.
