In this descriptive study, the information obtained from the Police Department as with the sexual abuse cases in the local basis of North Cyprus, was examined retrospectively according to the victim, perpetrator and the abuse incidence. According to the findings of the research, the victims are found to be all (%100) females. It is found out that, as with the %96, 7 of the cases the victims are 12 years old or above whereas %66,7 of the perpetrators are between 19-40 years old. The number of the perpetrators below 18 years old is noteworthy. For a better understanding of the recorded cases, the number of the scientific and academic studies that focus on the childhood sexual abuse and prevention strategies should increase.},author={Utku BEYAZIT},year={2015},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
