Abstract

18th century structure of Ottoman period, The Ishak Pasha palace was constructed splendidly and admirable with its location and architecture that reveals the dominance of beylics having voice in that region and the socio-economic power of the era. One of the most significant architectural works built in this period is the Ishak Pasha Palace drawing attention with its magnificient architecture. The Ishak Pasha Palace, constructed in accordance with the layout of Traditional Turkish Palaces, resembles the Edirne Palace and the Topkapı Palace in terms of distribution of places. The Palace, built in smaller sizes than the other palaces in the center, is composed of a cluster of constructions gathering around two successive courtyards. Among this cluster of constructions, the mosque, located between the sections of Harem and the Men’s Quarter (Selamlık) in the second courtyard, has been the most robust building reaching today with its minaret and narthex.
