Abstract

The purpose of that study is to identify the relationship between communication styles of parents who have preschool children and behavioral problems. It also aims to examine the communication of parents with their children in terms of family related and child related variables and to examine behavioral problems in children. The study has been prepared according to relational screening model. The sample of the study consists of 400 children of 36-60 months who are at different preschools in Bingol and their parents. In the study in order to have familial information personal data form which was developed by the researcher has been used. In order to scan the behavioral problems of preschool children Preschool Behavioral Problems Scanning Scale has been used and in order to identify communication levels of parents with their children Parent-Child Communication Evaluation Tool has been used.
