Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the sensitivity of teacher Candidates into the teaching profession was performed on first-year students in the Faculty of Education at Sakarya University. In the study was used scanning method that is among quantitative research methods. The research sample that was determined by the method of purposive sampling was consists of 217 students studying in five different departments. After the collected data was transferred to SPSS were performed some statistical procedures such as the mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. According to the analysis results, students of Education Faculty are quite high sensitive to the teaching profession and also girls more than boys is sensitive to the teaching profession.
