Abstract

Aristotle's Rhetoric is not different then a full-fledged textbook written by a professor. Short and detailed descriptions, regular classifications, citations, Summaries at the beginning and especially at the end and quotations in the works show that a strong “rhetoric” channel (/a rhetoric tradition) opened up within the bustling cultural structure of time. If we consider Homeros as the Grandfatber of rhetoric, then dozens of thinkers like Korax, Tisias, Thespis, antiphon, İsokrates, Anaximenes, Longinos and of course Socrates and Plato have taken the science of rhetoric to a very deep level. Gorgias is one of the first who found a treasure in those depths. This well-known orator of time has earned so much money with this business that he had built a statue of himself out of solid gold. But how?
