Abstract

Within the FATİH project, interactive whiteboards put in all classes of the country not only benefit to the world of education but also support the student in learning activities. The interactive whiteboard have many positive features as compared with classic boards like black or white board. It is seen that this new features affect teachers and more students. It was determined in various studies that by means of these new interactive whiteboards, the students could concentrate to the course better and could understand the topics dealt with in the course in a shorter time. The teachers need a serious preparing and study to use effectively this new teaching and learning tool in their class. In this article, it is said that how the interactive whiteboard is teaching and learning tool and what advantages are gained to teachers and students. Then as a result of this issue we suggest some offers.
