Abstract

Intercultural literature gained importance as a field of study in recent years. Despite the general view that it is a way of expression of globalized world, in fact, it has been a room for multicultural identities to express themselves for centuries. In this regard, multi-identity literature of empires serve as a rich source of intercultural research for scholars. Intercultural literature is the interaction of cultures in regard to shape and content, way of one culture's existence in another culture. Intercultural interaciton has changed following the fall of empires and establishment of nation states in nineteenth century. The hegemon imperial thought devised against different cultures in era of empires has been replaced with the global economic hegemony in nation states with single identity and which serve market economy with the aid of technological developments and depend on global economy.
