The aim of this study is to underline the opinions of motivation levels of prospective primary school teachers concerning teaching profession and to clarify whether these opinions change or not based on their sex, year, grade and the high school they have graduated. The population of the study is made up of 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th year prospective primary school teachers at Pamukkale University. As it is impossible to obtain the whole body of the population, the prospective primary school teachers were chosed as rated-group method. In sampling, 409 prospective primary school teachers were included. In the analysis of the data, “SPSS for Windows (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)”package program was used. The data of the study was obtained through the scale of “Motivation levels of prospective teachers regarding teaching profession”, which was developed by Acat and Yenilmez (2004).
