Abstract

MIDI, a basic structure equipped with a digital communication interface, is getting to be used in various musical industrial mediums consequently with the development of micro processing technology and storing capabilities. MIDI has the ability to demonstrate messages corresponding to basic musical components, articulations and playing techniques. MIDI’s ability to express musical variables in its own format has a place in software industry: Programs for writing musical notes are frequently used for compositions produced with the aid of MIDI sequencers and Digital Audio Workstations (DAW). Samplers, synthesizers and other plug-ins utilized in DAW software programs provide timbre richness for composers. Though MIDI architecture has such a vital importance for computer based music, MIDI tuning, which determines the frequency values of pitches, can only be used for tampare pitch system.
