Abstract

In this research, the relation between undergraduates’ self-esteem level and decision making styles subscales in deciding is examined according to the variants of “class, gender, type of university entrance scores, places they spend most of their lives, family income, family structure and behaviours of parents”. According to the findings of the research results; it’s seen that in deciding, undergraduates’ self-esteem levels significantly differentiate from deciding styles in the carefull and suspensive dimensions in terms of the variant of “gender”(p>.05); in avoidant and panic deciding styles, it significantly differs in terms of the variant of “gender”(p<.05); undergraduates’ carefull deciding subscales don’t remarkably vary from self-esteem and decision making styles in terms of the variant of “class”; avoidant, suspensive and panic deciding subscales profoundly differ in terms of the variant of “class”; in terms of the variant of “type of university entrance scores”, in decidi
