Abstract

How to help student overcome this difficulty is main focus of scholar One of the most acceptable and applicable method to teach science is inquiry-based learning (IBL) is embedded in constructivism by which, knowledge is constructed in the mind of the learner and useful knowledge is never transferred intact. The purpose of this study was to analyze students’ opinion about the effects of the IBL activities held in analytical chemistry laboratory. For this purpose, students engage spring semester analytical chemistry laboratory were chosen and the data about students’ opinion toward guided- inquiry based learning were collected after performing laboratory experiment through audiotaped semi- structured interviews. Consequently, the inquiry based learning activities were seen to contribute the development of students’ skill of scientific process and also develop students’ attitude toward science. Impressing result is that most of students are willing to be part of inquiry- based laborator
