Abstract

Abstract

As a result of the increasing value-based understanding all over the world in recent years, it has become extremely important to determine the values of companies realistically. Many criteria are being developed for the determination of company values. In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between the standardized Market Value, which is one of the criteria representing the company value, and the criteria that measure company performance. For this purpose, the study was carried out by using the financial data of 30 companies included in the BIST Sustainability index and whose data can be accessed between the years 2014-2021. The data used in the study were tested with the Quantile Regression method. As a result of the empirical data, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between market value added, return on assets ratio and price earnings ratio.
