Abstract
Modernist eserlerin belirgin ayrıcalıkları; üslup, teknik ve düşünce olmak üzere üç başlıkta toplanabilir. Bu farklılıklar müzikte belirgin olarak görülmektedir. Çalışmada "kaynak tarama" ve "döküman analizi" modeli kullanılarak, "karşılaştırmalı klasik form analizi metodu" uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan analiz yöntemi ile eserler bölümlere ve motiflere ayrılmıştır. Aynı zamanda çalışma, Klasik Dönem ve Postmodern Dönem eserler arasındaki bağıntı ve benzerliğe yönelik durum tespiti yapmayı ve Postmodern dönemin özelliklerini belirlemeyi amaçladığından betimsel nitelik taşımaktadır. Çalışmada uygulanan analizler sonucu, Postmodern dönem kendi içinde yeni teknikleri getirdiği için Modern, yalınlığı savunduğu için Klasik, duygu yoğunluğunu eserlerde gösterebildiği için Romantik ve motif analizi sonuçlarına göre Rönesans dönemlerine kadar uzanan karma bir dönem olduğu düşünülmüştür. Bu nedenle bir türlü tanımlanamayan Postmodern Dönem'e “İçinde bulunduğumuz döneme kadar geçirilen tüm dönemleri kapsayan ve kendi içinde yeni gelişmelere olanak sağlayan muhtelit bir dönemdir." tanımı yapılmıştır.

Abstract
The identifying distinctions of modernist works can be grouped in three categories; style, technique and thought. These differences are evident in music. In this study, the "comparative classical form analysis method" was applied by using "source scanning" and "document analysis" model. With the analysis method applied, the works were divided into sections and motifs. At the same time, the study is descriptive in that it aims to determine the relation between the Classical Period and Postmodern Period works and identify the characteristics of the Postmodern period. As a result of the analyzes carried out in the study, the Postmodern period is considered to be a mixed period ranging from the Modern to the Renaissance periods; it is regarded as Modern for showing the new techniques within itself; as Classical for defending the simplicity; as Romantic for showing the intensity of emotions in the works and as Renaissance according to motif analysis results. For this reason, the Postmodern Period, which is too hard to find a proper definition, was defined as "a distinctive period which covers all the periods until the present period and enables new developments within itself".
