Abstract
Modernleşme toplumun her kesimini farklı boyutlarda etkilemektedir. Toplumsal sorunlar çeşitlendikçe, devletler her kesime yönelik farklı sorun alanlarında farklı politikalar üretilmek zorunda kalmaktadır. Kadın yoksulluğu, yaşlı bakımı, bağımlılık, çocuğun ihmal ve istismarının önlenmesi, devletlerin odaklandığı sosyal politika konularıdır. Özellikle korunmaya muhtaç ya da öncelikli politika üretilmesi kesimlerin mevcudiyeti, artan küresel gelir eşitsizliği nedeniyle bu kitlelerin çoğalması bu politikaları hayati öneme sahip hale getirmiştir. Pek çok açıdan korunmaya muhtaç kitlelerden biri olan çocuklar için de çeşitli sorunların arttığı bir süreç yaşanmaktadır. Çocukların bakımı, eğitimi, teknoloji ve madde bağımlılığı gibi hususlar çocuklara yönelik kamu politikalarının ana konuları arasında yer almaktadır. Çocuklara yönelik spor odaklı destekleyici politikalar üretilmesi gibi adımlar gelecek kuşaklar için tartışmasız önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında çocuklar için son derece önemli olan sporda çocuk koruma uygulamaları ele alınmıştır. Türkiye’de spor sistemi içerisinde çocuk koruma programlarının boyutları, sorunlu alanlar, mevzuat ve önerilere yer verilmiş ve literatür incelemesine dayalı bir çalışma yapılmıştır.

Abstract
Modernization affects every part of society in different dimensions. As social problems vary, governments have to produce different policies in different problem areas for each sector. Issues such as women's poverty, aged care, addiction, and the prevention of neglect and abuse of children are the social policy issues that the states focus on. The existence of groups in need of protection or priority policy, the increasing global income inequality, the proliferation of these masses have made social policies vital. In many respects, there is a process in which there are various problems for children who are in need of protection. Issues such as child care, education, technology and drug addiction are among the main topics of public policies for children. The steps for the development of sport-oriented supportive policies for children are undoubtedly important for future generations. In this study, child protection practices which are very important for children are discussed. The size of the child protection system in Turkey in sports, problematic areas, given the legislation and recommendations, and a study was made based on a literature review.
