Abstract
Aile, geçmişten günümüze varlığını sürdüren toplumun en küçük birimdir. Bilindiği üzere her toplumun kendine ait bir aile yapısı vardır. Bu nedenle her toplum kendi aile yapısına yönelik çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Bu amaçla bu makalede, Osmanlı döneminden günümüze kadar Türk aile yapısındaki değişimlerin neler olduğu incelenmiş ve elde edilen bilgiler ışığında Türk Aile yapısının zaman içerisinde geçirmiş olduğu değişimler üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu doğrultuda konu, yapısal işlevselci yaklaşım kapsamında ele alınmış, Türk aile yapısında yaşanan değişimler “Osmanlı Devletinde Aile Yapısı” ve “Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Aile Yapısı” olarak iki başlık altında incelenmiş ve bu dönemler de Türk aile yapısında nasıl bir değişim yaşandığı açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The family is the smallest unit of society that has survived from the past to the present. As is known, every society has its own family structure. For this reason, every society works towards its own family structure. For this purpose, in this article, the changes in Turkish family structure from the Ottoman period to the present are examined and in the light of the information obtained, the changes that the Turkish family structure has undergone over time have been emphasized. In this context, the subject was discussed within the scope of structural functionalist approach and the changes in Turkish family structure were examined under two headings as “Family Structure in the Ottoman State”and “Turkish Family Structure in the Republic Period” and it was tried to explain how the Turkish family structure changed in these periods.
