Abstract
6-7 yaş düzeyindeki okul öncesi ve ilkokul öğrencilerinin renk algılarının düzeylerini çözümlemek ve renkle ilgili neler öğretilebileceği araştırmada bir çözüme kavuşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı 6-7 yaş düzeyindeki okul öncesi ve ilkokul öğrencilerinin renk algısını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırma, 6-7 yaş düzeyindeki öğrencilerin renk konusuyla ilgili öğrenebileceklerini ortaya çıkarması ve bilgilerin eğitim öğretime ışık tutması açısından önem taşımaktadır. Araştırma 6-7 yaş ile sınırlı olup, evreni 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılı içerisinde Hatay ilinin merkezinde yer alan Antakya’daki 2 ilkokul (Feridun Tınaztepe İlkokulu, Antakya ilkokulu) ve 2 anaokulu (Cemil Meriç Anaokulu, Zübeyde Hanım Anaokulu) oluşturmaktadır. Seçilen her okulda 15 öğrenci bu araştırmada yer almıştır. Resim çizdirme süresi 1 saatle sınırlı olup soruların sorulması zaman aldığından bu süreç 1 ayı almıştır. Araştırma sonunda öğrencilerin ana ve ara renklerin söyleyip sınıflandırabildiği, sıcak ve soğuk renklerin öğretildiği takdirde öğrenilebileceği, kontrast renklerin ileri yaşlarda öğretilebileceği, nötr renklerin ise öğretilebileceği sonuçlarına bulgular aracılığıyla erişilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of the study was to analyze the color perception levels of pre-school and primary school students at 6-7 years of age and to find a solution in the research on what can be taught about color. The aim of the study is to reveal the color perception of preschool and primary school students at 6-7 years of age. The research is important for students who are 6-7 years of age to learn about color and to shed light on educational learning. The research is limited to 6-7 years and the universe is composed of 2 primary schools in Antakya (Feridun Tınaztepe Primary School, Antakya Primary School) and 2 pre-schools (Cemil Meriç Pre-School, Zübeyde Hanim Pre-School), which are located in the centre of Hatay province during the 2016-2017 academic year. 15 students were included in this research in each selected school. Drawing time is limited to 1 hour and this process took 1 month since it took time to ask questions. At the end of the research, the results of the students can tell and classify the main and intermediate colors, the warm and cold colors can be learned if taught, the konstras colors can be taught at the advanced ages and the neutral colors can be taught through the findings.
