Abstract
Türkler tarih sahnesine çıktıkları andan itibaren inanç ve kültürlerine bağlı yaşamaya gayret göstermiştir. Özellikle de Orta Asya’da göçebe bir yaşam süren Türk toplumu uzun bir müddet Gök Tanrı ve Şamanizm inancının etkisinde kalmıştır. Gök Tanrı ve Şamanizm’in şekillendirdiği bu yaşam tarzı gerek o dönemin edebiyat ürünlerinde gerekse günümüz edebiyat eserlerinde sıklıkla işlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada İskender Fahrettin Sertelli’nin Asyadan Bir Güneş Doğuyor romanında Gök Tanrı ve Şamanizm inancının etkisi incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Türklerin Orta Asya’daki yaşamını konu alan roman bu açıdan son derece zengin malzemeler barındırmaktadır. Romanda tarihî ve coğrafî dekor Gök Tanrı dini ve Şamanizm inancı ögeleri ile verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Böylece romandaki gerçeklik duygusu artırılarak okur ve metin arasındaki bağ kuvvetlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The Turks have tried to live by depending on their beliefs and customs since they appeared on the stage of history. The Turkish society, who maintained a nomadic life in the Central Asia, was under the influence of Shamanism and Tengrism. This life style shaped by these beliefs were frequently reflected both in the literary works of that period and in the contemporary literary works. The aim of this study is to trace the influence Shamanism and Tengrism in Fahrettin Sertertelli’s Asyadan Bir Güneş Doğuyor (A Sun Rising in Asia) novel. The novel, which deals with the life of the Turks in the Central Asia, includes very rich materials in this respect. The historical and geographical decors are presented with Tengrism and Shamanism. Therefore, the connection between the reader and the text is tried to be strengthen by increasing the sense of reality in the novel.
