Abstract
XIX. yüzyılın hem insanlığa hem de edebiyat dünyasına miras bıraktığı bir bilimsel yaklaşım olan Psikanaliz, ilkin kurucusu tarafından edebi metne uygulanmıştır. Freud’la temelleri atılan ve daha sonraları Jung, Adler, Fromm, Kleine, Otto Rank, Kernberg gibi psikanalistler tarafından geliştirilen bu bilim dalı, günümüzde popüler bir yaklaşım olarak benimsenir. İnsan psişesinin sözcüklerle temasından hâsıl olan edebiyat tam da bu noktada psikanalizle temasa geçer. Freud’un metinden hareketle sanatçıyı tanımaya çalışması, edebiyat dünyası için yeni bir dünyanın kapılarını aralamıştır. Edebi eserin yaratıcısı olan sanatçı, yazma ediminde esere kendi ruhunun derinliklerinden bir şeyler katar. Sanatçının farkında olmaması, bu sonucu değiştirmez. Dolayısıyla sanatçının ruhundan etkilenen eser, sanatçısından ayrı düşünülemez. Bu çalışmada, Nilüfer Kuyaş’ın Ada’daki Ev adlı romanında, karakterlerin ruhsal durumu irdelenmiştir. Yazarın ruh dünyasından edebi esere süzülen roman kahramanları, kurgusal metnin elverdiği çerçevede anlaşılmaya ve anlamlandırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Özellikle Esra’nın çevresiyle ilişkileri birçok psikolojik rahatsızlığın semptomlarına işaret etmektedir. Sanatçının bilinçaltından sızan kurgusal karakterler, moderniteyle anlamsızlaşan bir dünyada kendilerini anlamaya çalışan mağdur kişilerdir.

Abstract
Psychoanalysis which 19th century legated to the world of letters, was applied to the literary text by its founder. This science which was founded by Freud and then developed by psychoanalists like Jung, Adler, Fromm, Kleine, Otto Rank, Kernberg is adopted as a popular approach today. Literature which emerges from the contact of human psyche with the words, contacts with psychoanalysis right at this point. Freud’s efforts to try to know the artist based on the text, opened a new era fort he literary world. The artist who is the creator of the literary work includes something from his soul in the process of writing. The fact that the artist isn’t aware doesn’t change this result. Therefore, the work influenced by the artist’s soul can’t be considered differently from the artist’s soul. In this work, in his novel named Ada’daki Ev by Nilüfer Kuyaş, the spiritual condition of the characters has been analysed. The novel characters of emerging from the spiritual world of the author were studied within the framework of fictional text. Especially, Esra’s relations with the environment signs the symptoms of a lot of psychological diseases. Fictional characters emerging from the artist’s subconscious are the victims who try to understand themselves in a world which becomes meaningless with the modernity.
