Abstract
Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı (DİB)’nın 2015 yılı itibariyle pilot uygulamalarla başlattığı “Hastanelerde Manevî Destek” hizmeti her geçen gün daha da genişleyerek ülkenin birçok ilinde görevlendirilen DİB personeli vasıtasıyla yürütülmektedir. Manevî destek hizmeti sunması için görevlendirilen bu personel, DİB bünyesinde hâlihazırda çeşitli görevleri üstlenmiş din görevlilerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu görevliler bir takım standartlar ışığında gönüllülük esasına göre belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırma, DİB tarafından 2018 yılı içerisinde hastanelerde manevî destek görevlisi olarak görevlendirilmesi düşünülen 159 din görevlisi üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, söz konusu görevlilerin görevlerine başlamadan ve manevî destek hizmet içi eğitimini almadan önce yapmaya gönüllü oldukları hizmete dair algılarının ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışmasının bütüncül tekli durum deseni vasıtasıyla toplanan veriler analiz edilmiş ve elde edilen bulgular oluşturulan temalarla sunularak katılımcıların kavram ve içerik algısı gözler önüne serilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
“The spiritual support” service in hospitals that is introduced by Presidency of Religious Affairs (DİB) has executed by DİB staff in several parts of Turkey, expanding more day by day. This staff is consisted of the religious officials who presently undertook several duties in DİB. These officials are chosen by some standards based on the principal of volunteering. This article will be conducted by DİB for 159 religious officials who are thought as spiritual supporters in hospitals. In the article to present the perceptions of the spiritual supporters about the service before starting are aimed. In this respect, the data collected by the integrated sole situation design which is one of the qualitative research methods are analyzed and the concept and content perceptions of participants are brought forward, presenting the findings by constituted themes
