Abstract
Sanatın çeşitli dalları içinde gelişen pek çok farklı anlatım biçimi bulunmaktadır. Her dönemde toplumsal, politik, coğrafi ve ekonomik unsurların etkileri ile bu anlatım biçimlerinin değişip, içinde bulunduğu ortamı yansıttığı görülür. Böylece o dönemin beklenti ve ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek bir sanat yaklaşımı ortaya konabilir. Müziğin her dalında da bu durumun yaşandığı söylenebilir. Müzik tarihi boyunca beliren dönemler ve akımlar sosyal ve politik süreçlerin izlerini taşımış, kimi zaman da bu süreçleri yönlendirmişlerdir. Bu etkileşim ve süreçler Türkiye’de de yaşanmış, toplumsal hayatın her evresinde yeni akımlar ve anlatımlar öne çıkmıştır. Bu paralelde Cumhuriyet dönemi Türkiye’sinde de toplum için öne çıkan bir takım fikirlerin o dönem eserlerinde sembolik unsurlar yoluyla aktarıldığı düşünülebilir. Bu anlamda değerlendirilebilecek unsurlar ele alınarak bu çalışmada ortaya konulacak, ve Sembolizm kavramı temelinde incelenecektir.

Abstract
There are lots of different expression styles growing in different branches of arts. It is seen that these expression styles changes in every period of history and reflects the environment which it grows in with the effects of social, politic, geographical and economic factors. By this way, an artistic approach can be created satisfying the expectations and needs of that period. It can be said that it happens in every kind of music too. The periods and movements, emerging throughout the music history, reflects and even shapes social and political incidents and processes. These interactions and processes became efficient in Turkey and new movements and expressions appeared in every phrase of social life. Accordingly, it can be thought that ideas and ideologies of new new republic have been transferred by some symbolic components which took place in the works of that period. These components that may be evaluated in this context will be determined and examined on the basis of the Symbolism movement.
