Abstract
Bu teorik çalışmada yeni bilim paradigmasının davranışı anlama ve yorumlama çabaları çerçevesinde, kaos teorisinin sosyal bilimler metodolojisine sunduğu açılımlar ile bu açılımların halkla ilişkiler uygulamalarına sağlayacağı yardımın önemini vurgulanmak amaçlanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda çalışma içinde öncelikle değişen dünya düzeni ile eş zamanlı değişen bilimsel paradigmalar aracılığıyla klasik bilimden yeni bilime geçiş hakkında kısaca bilgi verilmekte, ardından klasik bilimin belirlenimlilik iddiasını yerinden eden kaos teorisi hakkında yeni bilim paradigması çerçevesinde genel bir çerçeve çizilmekte, ardından çalışma kaos teorisi anlayışının sosyal bilimlere uyarlandığında iletişim bilimi ve halkla ilişkiler uygulamalarına sunacağı katkı ile ilgili öneriler aktarılarak sonuçlandırılmaktadır.

Abstract
This study aims to emphasize the contribution of chaos theory, new science paradigm towards the social sciences and the methodology used in the social sciences upon their efforts in understanding and explaining the behavior and the importance of this contribution in terms of public relations practices. With this purpose, chaos theory is scrutinized within the scope of new science paradigm. In this study, first of all, a brief overview of the changing scientific paradigms and the new knowledge transfer from classical science to the changing determinizm, then a general framework of the new scientific paradigm about the theory of chaos, which takes the place of the determination of science, is drawn up and then the study chaos theory is adapted to the social sciences, communication and public relations
