Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı restoran çalışanlarının iş stresleri ile yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, analiz edilecek veriler Eskişehir’de bulunan birinci sınıf restoran ve özel tesislerde görev yapan 146 işgörenden 2017 Ağustos-Eylül ayında toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin yapısal geçerliliğinin sağlanması için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılarak modelin doğrulanması sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre restoran çalışanların iş stresleri ile yaşam doyumları arasında orta düzeyde negatif bir ilişki olduğu gözlenmiştir. Diğer bir ifade ile stres düzeyi arttıkça yaşam doyumu azaldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Dolayısıyla oluşturulan hipotez doğrulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre göre uygulayıcılara yönetimsel önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between job stress and life satisfaction of restaurant workers. Accordingly this purpose, data were collected from 146 employees working the first class restaurant and special facilities in Eskisehir, in August-September 2017. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed to verify the model in order to be provided the structural validity of the obtained data. Results indicated that a negative (medium) relationship between job stress and life satisfaction is determined. In other words, as the level of stress increases, life satisfaction decreases. Hence, the hypothesis has been verified. According to the result obtained, managerial recommendations were made to the practitioner.
