TÜRKÇE VE TÜRK KÜLTÜRÜ DERSİNE YÖNELİK ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ: BİR DURUM ÇALIŞMASI (GÜNEY FRANSA ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract
Bu çalışmada Fransa’da Türkçe ve Türk Kültürü Dersi kapsamında anadili eğitimi vermekte olan eğitimcilerin son zamanlarda Fransa’da tartışma konusu olan Türkçe ve Türk Kültürü Dersinin etkililiği ile ilgili görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda derse ilişkin sorunların ve sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerilerinin de öğretmen görüşleri doğrultusunda ortaya koyulması amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini evren içerisindeki başkonsolosluklarda görevli 13 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun Türkçe ve Türk Kültürü dersinin etkili olduğunu düşündükleri görülmüştür. Çalışmada, Türkçe ve Türk Kültürü dersinin yapısından kaynaklanan sorunların, derslerin geç saatlerde yapılması, derslerin birleştirilmiş sınıf uygulaması şeklinde işlenmesi, öğrencilerin Türkçe ve Türk Kültürü derslerine başlama yaşlarının geç olması ve ders sürelerinin yetersiz olması şeklinde ifade edildiği görülmüştür.

Abstract
This study aims to examine the opinions of the educators responsible for the mother tongue education on the effectiveness of the course of Turkish Language and Culture, which has been controversial recently in France. In this sense, it also seeks to reveal the problems in relation to the course and the suggestions for the elimination of such problems based on the teacher opinions. The sample of the study consisted of 13 teachers serving in the consulates general in the population. A major part of the participants stated that the course of Turkish Language and Culture is effective. The problems arising from the structure of the course of Turkish Language and Culture include that the courses start at late hours; the practices in the course are delivered in a multi-grade classroom; the age when the students start to attend the course is late; the duration of the courses is insufficient.
