Abstract
Toplumların kalkınması eğitim alanında gerçekleştirdikleri politikalara bağlıdır. Ülkemizde kuruluşundan günümüze kadar geçen dönemde eğitim alanında çeşitli politikalar uygulanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda fırsat eşitliği, teknoloji eğitimi, bilgisayar destekli eğitim, yabancı dil eğitimi, din eğitimi gibi alanlarda politikalar geliştirilmiştir. Ülkemizdeki siyasi partiler, seçim bildirgelerinde eğitim alanında gerçekleştirmeyi planladıkları politikalara yer vermektedir. Biz bu çalışmamızda, siyasi partilerin eğitim politikalarından biri olan din eğitimi konusunu ele alacağız. Bu doğrultuda 7 Haziran 2015 seçimlerinde AKP, CHP, MHP ve HDP partilerinin yayınlamış oldukları bildirgeler temel alınmıştır. Bunun yanında tarihi süreç içerisinde din eğitimi alanında uygulanmaya konulmuş olan politikalara da değinilmiştir. Böylece din eğitimi alanında uygulanmaya konmuş olan politikalar arasındaki benzerlik ve farklılıklara da değinilmiştir.
