Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Rainer Maria Rilke’nin, hem Almanca edebiyata hem de dünya edebiyatına damgasını vuran Duino Ağıtları’ndaki melek imgesinin, İslamiyet’in melek tasavvuruyla olan göbek bağı metin içi ve metin dışı araştırma yöntemlerini harmanlayan eklektik bir araştırma yöntemiyle incelenecektir. Şairin on yılda tamamlayabildiği on ağıttan oluşan bu şiir dizisinin odak noktasında; yaşam, ölüm ve aşk motifleriyle işlediği insanlığın varoluş sorunsalı yer alır. Rilke bu sorunsalı, özellikle ilk iki ağıtta tümüyle baskın olan, sonra yavaş yavaş arka plana çekilmeye başlayan melek imgesi ekseninde işlemiştir. Anlaşılması oldukça güç olan bu şiirlerini aydınlatmak için yazdığı bir mektubunda şöyle yazar: “Ağıtların meleğinin Hıristiyanlığın gökleriyle hiçbir ilişkisi yoktur (daha ziyade İslamiyet’in melek figürüyle ilişkilidir).” Günümüze kadar ağıtların meleği hakkında birçok çalışma yapılmış, ancak bu meleğin İslamiyet ile bağı çok az araştırmada irdelenmiştir. Abstract
In this study, it will be examined the umbilical cord (the deep connection) of the angel image, which is represented in Duino Elegies by Rainer Maria Rilke playing on important role in both German literature and the world on, with the angel figure in Islam by the help of eclectic way blending the intertextual and nontextual search ways. Includes ten elegies and completed in ten years, these poetry series focus on the existence problem of human being adorned with the life, death and love motifs. Rilke commits this problem in the axis of angel image which is extensively dominant especially in the first two elegies and then starts to go background slowly.
