Abstract
Çalışmanın amacı eğitim fakültesindeki son sınıf öğrencilerinin akademik kültüre ilişkin görüşlerini araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın evrenini Artvin Çoruh Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim gören son sınıftaki öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem olarak 10 öğrenci, maksimum çeşitlilik yöntemine göre bölümler kıstas alınarak belirlenmiştir. On altı adet açık uçlu sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu uzman görüşlerine ve alan yazın taramasından elde edilen bulgulara göre oluşturulmuş ve kullanılmıştır. Bulgulardan, öğrenciler ile hocalar arasındaki mesafenin az olduğu, öğrencilerin genel olarak düşüncelerini özgürce ifade edemediği, öğrenciler arasında olmayan biz duygusunun yönetimde mevcut olduğu, yetenekli hocaların sadece öğrenciler tarafından takdir edildiği, yetenekli öğrencilerin de kimseden takdir görmediği, hocaların öğrencilere eşit davranmadığı ve kuralların öğrenci görüşlerine göre alınıp değiştirilebildiği anlaşılmıştır. Abstract
The purpose of the study is to research the faculty culture according to opinions of senior students of faculty of education. The population of the research consists of senior students at faculty of education in Artvin Çoruh University. The sample included 10 students chosen using maximum variation method based on their programs. A semi-structured interview form consisting of 16 open ended questions was developed according to expert opinions and literature review and then used for data collection. Findings indicate that the proximity between teachers and students is low, in general students cannot express their opinions freely, we-feeling exists among administrators but not among students, competent students are not appreciated while competent teachers are appreciated by students, teachers do not treat students equally, and rules are set and changed considering student opinions.
