Abstract
Bu araştırmada bedensel engelli badmintoncuların benlik saygısı düzeylerinin yaş ve cinsiyet değişkenine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma Almanya’da düzenlenen Uluslararası Bedensel Engelliler Badminton turnuvasına katılan 15 ülkeden 61 engelli sporcu üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak Rosenberg tarafından geliştirilen ve Çuhadaroğlu tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal-Wallis H testleri uygulanmıştır. Bayan ve erkek bedensel engelli badmintoncuların benlik saygısı düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel farklılık tespit edilmemiştir (U=271,500; p>0,781). Bedensel engelli badmintoncuların benlik saygısı düzeyleri yaş değişkenine göre karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olmadığı bulunmuştur (Ki-Kare=6,633; p>0,085). Sonuç olarak; farklı yaş ve cinsiyetteki bedensel engelli badminton sporcularda benlik saygısı düzeyinin değişim göstermediği söylenebilir.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate disabled badminton players level of self-esteem according to age and gender variables. The study was carried out in physically disabled badminton tournament held in germany where 61 disabled players from is countries participated the tournament. The self-esteem scale developed by rosenberg and adaphed to turkish bu Çuhadaroğlu was used as data collection tool descriptive statistics Kruskal-Wallis tests and Mann-Whitney U tests were used as statistical analysis. There were not significant differences between self-esteem levels of men and women disabled badminton players (U=271,500; p>0,781). Likewise there were not significant differences according to age variables of them (chi-square=6,633; p>0,085). As a result it can be said that physically disabled badminton players in different age and gender did not Show now any changes in the level of self esteem.
