Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaokul 7.sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler dersi “Türk Tarihine Yolculuk” Ünitesinde kavram yanılgılarının neler olduğunu kendi çizdikleri karikatürler aracılığıyla tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2014-2015 eğitim öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Muğla İlinde kamuya bağlı bir ortaokulun 7.sınıfında öğrenim gören 27 Kız 23 erkek olmak üzere toplam 50 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması tekniği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen açık uçlu soru (yapılandırılmamış) ile öğrenci karikatürlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Ölçek sosyal bilgiler programındaki kavram kazanımına uygun şekilde giriş, geliştirme ve pekiştirme olarak üç bölüme ayrılmıştır. Araştırmada derinlemesine bilgi toplamak ve öğrencilerin çizdikleri karikatürü yazılı betimlemeleri için öğrencilere ünitedeki giriş, geliştirme ve pekiştirme düzeyindeki kavramlar verilerek karikatür çizmeleri istenmiştir. Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine what misconceptions are in the unit of ‘the travel of Turkish History’ with 7th grade students’ own caricatures in Social Studies lesson. The working group in the study consists of 7th grade students, 27 girls and 23 boys, total 50 students in 2014-2015 academic year spring semester in Muğla. Case study technique among qualitative research design is used in this study. Open ended questions (unconfigured) and students’ caricatures are benefited from collecting the data. The scale is separated from three chapter: introduction, progress, and enhancement, proper to acquisition of concept. The concepts of introduction, progress and enhancement levels are given to students to draw caricature with the aim of describing the caricatures in written to collect the data. The descriptive statics is used in analyzing the findings. According to data results, some concepts of introduction, progress, and enhancement levels have misconceptions in the unit of ‘the tr
