Abstract
Sivil toplum kuruluşları (STK), resmi kurumlar dışında ve bunlardan bağımsız olarak çalışan politik, sosyal, kültürel, hukuki ve çevresel amaçları doğrultusunda üyelerini ve çalışanlarını gönüllülük usulüyle alan, kâr amacı gütmeyen ve gelirlerini bağışlar ve/veya üyelik ödemeleri ile sağlayan kuruluşlardır. Bu örgütler toplumumuzun bu gününü ve geleceğini hazırlamak için çaba gösteren önemli kuruluşlardır. Türkiye’de birçok sivil toplum örgütü mevcuttur ve farklı alanlarda topluma hizmet etmeyi amaç edinmişlerdir. Türkiye’de STK istatistiklerine bakıldığında 4.547’si vakıf, 86.031’i dernek olmak üzere, 90.578 sivil toplum kuruluşu faaliyet göstermektedir. Dernek üyesi sayısı ise 9 Milyona yakındır. Bu örgütlerin faaliyetleri içerisinde rekreatif amaçlı spor programlarının azlığı ön plana çıkmaktadır. Civil Society Organization, working outside the government agencies, independently with the political, social, cultural, legal and environmental objectives in line with the members and employee’s volunteer work at the organization, nonprofit and income of the organization make from donations and / or membership payments providing entities. These organizations are very important for striving prepare the society today and future. Turkey has many civil society organizations and aims to serve the community in different areas. Considering the Civil Society statistic there are 4.547 foundations and 86.031 associations and total of 90.578 civil society organizations operate in the Turkey.
