OKUL ÖNCESİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN FEN ÖĞRETİMİNE KARŞI TUTUM VE İNANÇLARINA YÖNELİK ÖLÇEĞİN TÜRKÇEYE UYARLANMASI

Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Maier ve arkadaşları (2013) tarafından geliştirilen Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinin Fen Öğretimine Karşı Tutum ve İnançlarına Yönelik Ölçeğin Türkçe’ye uyarlanması amaçlanmıştır. Uyarlama çalışması dört aşamadan oluşmaktadır. İlk olarak, ölçek alan uzmanları tarafından Türkçe’ye çevrilmiş ve Türkçe'den İngilizce’ye çevrilerek karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. İkinci olarak, ölçek Doğu Anadolu’da farklı 5 ildeki okul öncesi öğretmenlerine (n=206) uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini belirlemek için öncelikle açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmış ve üç faktörlü bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Daha sonra verilerin doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile model uyumu test edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre ölçeğin üç faktörlü yapısının doğrulandığı görülmüştür. Ölçeğin uyarlanmış versiyonu Türkiye’de Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinden geçerli ve güvenilir sonuçlar elde etmede kullanılmasının uygun olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
In this study it’s aimed that to adapt an instrument “preschool teachers’ attitudes and beliefs toward science teaching (PABTS) questionnaire” into Turkish which developed by Maier et al (2013). Adapting the instrument four steps were followed. Firstly, the scale was translated into Turkish by field experts and were compared translated from Turkish to English. Secondly, the scale was conducted to five different city in Eastern Anatolia to pre-school teachers (n = 206). After that to determine the construct validity, exploratory factor analysis was performed and three-factor structure was obtained. Finally, model adaptation was tested with confirmatory factor analysis of the data. According to the results of the scale it was found to confirm the composition of the three factors. It was concluded that the adapted version of (PABTS) questionnaire could appropriate to use and produce valid and reliable results on Turkish Preschool teacher.
